On the the fourth day before Christmas, I gave my true loves…
Twelve Red Velvet Crinkles
Eleven different wrappers
Ten different treat boxes
Nine (plus!) candy house decorations
Eight elves adorning
Seven reindeer awaiting
(Thanks, Magpie Ethel!)
Six vintage stockings
Five pounds of garlicky snack mix
Four Pom Poms on a wreath
Three baby fawn
Two Rudolphs
and one lap-sized Santa.
Are you feeling the vintage holiday vibe here?
So many of these things are items I’ve picked up last year and it’s so fun to add them to our entourage.
The JOY sign I picked up last year but the oversized Kewpie doll in the Santa outfit was a new Bins find.
And this snowman is a newcomer as well.
And doesn’t his cousin look jolly by the fireplace?
The mitten advent garland you see above is new from Target and it’s fun to hide a treat in it for Pork Chop each day.
So a treat for Porter, and then another treat for me.
Speaking of Porter, it’s been so fun to integrate him into our holiday routines and bring him along each step of the way.
I think he was confused by the whole tree thing
but there was no shortage of smiles when I handed him a piece of turkey in the midst of that lot.
